Labour Induction

Once full-term is reached acupuncture is used to encourage labour. Some points are specifically chosen for the woman’s individual constitution and some are more generic ones that interact directly with the ‘sacral plexus’ – a group of nerves that are intimately involved in the birthing process.

Success may require treatment on consecutive days and depends on timing with the best results between days 10 and 14 over.
