My wife and I had been trying for a child for 4 years and had unsuccessful fertility treatments. Although there was no obvious problem we were among a growing number of couples that have an unspecified infertility problem. We met Richard through personal recommendation and had acupuncture over a number of sessions. When we had another course fertility treatment in the summer of 2008 my wife became pregnant and gave birth to our beautiful twins in March 2009. Not only are we sure that the acupuncture help with conceiving and ensuring the pregnancy was successful I also found that the sessions helped deal with a stressful period at work and general well being. We found Richard to be professional and informative, and whole heartily recommend his practice.

I first went to see Richard, when I was 38, on recommendation from a friend who also had fertility problems but went onto conceive naturally after being treated by him. I started having regular sessions when I was undergoing IVF treatment.  As one of our issues was male factor, I persuaded my husband to be treated as well, even though he was needle phobic! Just after 1 session, my husband’s count trebled and the morphology motility rates improved too. We were lucky enough to conceive via frozen embryo transfer in 2006.

In 2008 we tried for a sibling for our son and I had a few more sessions with Richard. My husband was also treated, and after just 1 session, we managed to conceive naturally. Our daughter was born in July this year.
